Miguel is a doctor and the head of his department. This means that especially during the Corona Pandemic, his life is stressful and hectic. He describes how cartooning is what keeps him going when he comes home. Cartooning is his way of processing the daily events. The power of cartoons for him is that they tell a story – the story of translating his emotions and experiences and giving them a good place.

In Cuba we work together with talented cartoonists such as Miguel Morales Madrigal, but also with a group of facilitators – Frikomic – who are artists that also want to inspire and empower youth in Cuba with cartoon art!
